Webmaster Briefing notes

The Webmaster role is generally carried out by the Sergeant At Arms, with assistance from the rest of the committee, for example:

• the Secretary may update the Committee Meetings page,
• the VP Education may update the Club Activities page, and
• the VP Public Relations should be very interested in the website by nature of their role and the fact that it can provide value for existing members and attract new members.

The web site is designed so that anyone from the club can update it (this is the nature of a "wiki"). But it needs someone to "evangelise it", and also to keep the email addresses up to date.

It also contains the instructions for keeping it up to date, and these can added to and expanded from as required.

I recommend you familiarise yourself with the web site content (starting at the Home page), ie read it and follow the links. Then you will see the value it can provide club members.
