This site is hosted for free on the Wellington Community Network.

Wellington Community Net is supported by the Wellington City Council.

This site is tested with Chrome, Firefox, Opera, and Internet Explorer.

The minimum browser versions recommended are: Firefox 2, Opera 9; IE 7.

Maintenance

This site needs very little maintenance, and because it is a wiki most of that can be done by any club member. The following actions are required, essentially annually

Update .qmail email addresses for new committee members and upload to the server
Update the HomePage committee member details
- (some guidelines are given in Updating Committee)
Update the Club Activities page
- (some guidelines are given in Updating Club Activities)
It is useful if the webmaster is also a moderator of the Club's Yahoo! Group

Setup

Download the latest version of PmWiki.
Read the release notes for the new version, and review all changes
pmwiki-2.2.0-beta68 is the version currently in use.
Extract the contents.
Ideally test on your own system first
FTP the entire distribution up to the wellington.net server (this will not overwrite local or changed files)
Check the website is working OK

Tips

When uploading the .qmail address files ensure you use Ascii transfer. This can easily be done with FileZilla, but not using the Windows XP Network Connections FTP folder.
